The next day we'll transport you to our Exploration Center in Siquirres for your choice of white water adventures. At the end we'll transport you to your choice of San Jose, Arenal area or Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.

Approximate Itinerary:

First Day:
6:00 - 6:30 am - Pick Up in San Jose, South Caribbean and Arenal
6:30 - 8:30 am - In route to Exploration Center in Siquirres
8:30 - 9:15 am - Breakfast at the Exploration Center
9:15 - 10:30 am - In route Exploration Center to CaÑo Blanco
10:30 - 12 noon - Boat ride on the Canals
12:00 - 3:00 pm - Check in at Hotel, Lunch and time to relax
3:00 - 5:00 pm - Visit to Tortuguero Village
6:30 pm - Dinner
8:00 pm -Seasonal Night tour by boat to walk on the beach to observe the turtle nesting, optional activity $25


Second Day:
7:00 am - Breakfast
8:00 am - Check out and leave for Canal Tour
11:00 am - 1:00 pm - Depart north side of Tortuguero and lunch
1:00 pm - Rainforest Hike
3:30 pm - 6:30 pm - In route to your hotel in Siquirres.


Third Day:
8:15 - 9:00 am Breakfast at the Exploration Center
9:00 - 9:30 am En route to River
10:15 - 10:30 am Preparation for the Descent (safety orientation, paddle practice)
10:30 - 2:00 pm River Descent (including lunch)
2:00 - 3:00 pm Arrival at our "Exploration Center" with time to shower, change clothes, enjoy a beverage and reflect on the adventure just shared
03:00 - 05:00 pm Transportation to your choice of: San José, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca or Arenal Volcano Area

Not included:
National Park entrance $10, Caribbean Conservation Corporation $1, turtle nesting night tour $25.

What to bring:
Light clothes, swimming suit, sunscreen, hat, camera (ideally water proof), water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, insect repellent, binoculars, rain coat. For the night-tour please wear dark clothes.
