No matter what corner of Costa Rica you would like to explore, we know how to make sure you have an Adventure of a Lifetime!
It has the hardest commercial runs in the country, as well as the biggest white water. With over 65kms (40 miles) of rapids, it has two different sections to choose from: Pascua and Florida. All of them are one-day trips easily done from San José or the Caribbean Coast. Better yet, why not combine it with another trip, such as Arenal or Tortuguero? The Reventazon is your best choice for late dry season months (March and April). It maintains very good water levels, as other rivers start getting really low.
The lush surroundings, abundant bird life and good amount of fun rapids makes this a great introduction to river running. This run is clearly divided in two halves. The first hour is very exciting, with big waves and long rapids.
We stop for a first class buffet lunch at the prettiest beach on the river. The second half is more relaxed as the river enters the true lower Caribbean. The surroundings take on a jungle character and the wildlife is more plentiful. At the end we take you to our Exploration Center, where you can change, shower and relax.
During rainy months we operate the Sarapiqui, and during drier times, the Reventazon.

06:30 – 06:30 am Pick-up in your choice of San José, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca or Arenal Volcano Area
06:30 – 08:15 am En route to “Exploration Center” in Siquirres
08:15 – 09:00 am Breakfast at the Exploration Center
09:00 – 09:30 am En route to River
10:15 – 10:30 am Preparation for the Descent (safety orientation, paddle practice)
10:30 – 02:00 pm River Descent (including lunch)
02:00 – 03:00 pm Arrival at our “Exploration Center” with time to shower, change clothes, enjoy a beverage and reflect on the adventure just shared
03:00 – 05:00 pm Transportation to your choice of: San José, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca or Arenal Volcano Area
