There are many ways in which you can support the Tropical Adventures Foundation. Becoming a Member is one very powerful way you can be of assistance. Our Members are people from the community, past volunteers, corporate supporters and everyday people who wish to make an impact in Costa Rica by helping our under-resourced communities, endangered wildlife, indigenous people and the environment.

Your support will help raise awareness and provide the Foundation with much-needed funds for our ongoing programs, especially those that support students and communities achieve their dreams and goals through culturally-inclusive and educational programs.

Becoming a Tropical Adventures Member is a great way to support the work we do without having to be in Costa Rica. It's also a excellent way for past volunteers to remain connected to the Tropical Adventures' extended family, the projects and host families they have been involved with.

You don’t have to have visited Costa Rica to be a Member -- or even to have had any previous contact with us. We welcome you to help us make a difference in Costa Rica by joining our Membership Program today.

You’ll receive several benefits depending on the level of Membership you choose, and will be kept regularly updated on how your support is helping Costa Rica’s people and and our many programs. And, of course, your donation is tax deductible (less the value of gifts received).

At this time we are just beginning our search for corporate sponsors. We will continue to update our Members and this web page with information about discounts offered as new sponsors are added.

Our annual event will be in October or November of 2009. We will be setting the date soon. We will be welcoming Members, Board Members, past volunteers, community members (especially the teachers in our schools), staff of Tropical Adventures and our advisers. It will stretch over a long weekend. We will have social events, tours, training sessions, strategic planning workshops and lots of fun. This next year the event will likely be in the Arenal Volcano area. More information coming soon. The invitations to this event will cover the cost of the workshop fees.
