Tropical Adventures provides a variety of
We encourage our volunteers to stay with a host family where possible as we believe that it is an enriching experience, helping volunteers gain a greater understanding of Costa Rican life. However, for those that would prefer to stay independently, where available, we also offer the option of staying in a local hostel. Volunteers can also upgrade to a hotel at an additional fee.

And for volunteers who choose this option – it is sure to be a fulfilling experience. This option includes three meals a day. Find out more information about our host families here. 
Click to view large Volunteer Lodges Some of our more remote projects offer accommodation on location in a volunteer lodge. Some of these are in spectacular locations in the rainforest or next to the beach. This may be a single room or a shared room with shared facilities. Please contact us for more information on the available options for each project. 
Click to view large Guesthouses & Hostels For volunteers that prefer to stay independently, in some locations we can offer the option of staying in a local guesthouse or hostel. This includes breakfast. 
Click to view large Upgrade to a Hotel For those that prefer a little extra luxury, where available, we are happy to offer an upgrade to a hotel of your choice for an extra fee. Please contact us to discuss hotel options at specific project locations. We try and offer a variety of accommodation options for our volunteers, however due to the remoteness of some project locations, only one type of option may be available. |
